I currently live in Bradenton, but I grew up in Virginia, where a big part of my heart will always be. I know how to appreciate life and everything it has to offer, but I will always be a southern girl at heart. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not like most girls. I'm laid back, easygoing, smart, funny, and even a little sassy. I love to laugh, and I can be a little goofy sometimes. I'm known to be sarcastic, but never to the point of being mean. I'm a cool chick - the kind you don't mind hanging out with. I absolutely hate drama, and will do just about anything to avoid confrontation. Sometimes I'm sarcastic and witty, but overall I'm a genuinely nice girl - probably one of the nicest people you'll ever meet. Just don't mistake my quietness for shyness, or my kindness for weakness. ;-)

The only request that I have for a first date is an activity that doesn't discourage us actually having a conversation and getting to know each other. So, of course this means that movie theatres, and things of that nature are probably not the best bet for a first date. That would be a great 2nd and 3rd date when, when we've already talked about everything and we're tired of listening to each other. :-)

I'm always down for (even though it sounds cliche) a walk on the beach, a nice dinner, maybe a drink or two, and good old fashioned, meaningful conversation. I'm very easy to get along with, I'm not hard to please, and I'm alot of fun to be around. I think the true purpose of a first date is to be yourself, feel comfortable, and most importantly to have fun together. I try to keep an open mind and am pretty much down for anything fun, within reason of course...

My idea of fun is spending time with someone I have a connection with, and getting to know them. In my opinion, it doesn't really matter what two people do - if they have chemistry, almost anything they do together will be fun. Having said that, I love to cook, spend time with family and friends, go to the beach or out on a boat, I love football, theme parks, concerts, weekend getaways, you name it!

I believe that every day is a precious gift from God that shouldn't be wasted, because tomorrow is not guaranteed. I am fairly new to Florida, and I'm interested in meeting new people, having fun, and maybe making a new friend or two in the process. Having said that, I am completely open to the idea of finding that "special someone, " but at the same time, I'm not trying to rush into anything. Anything (or anyone for that matter) worth my time, is worth taking a little extra time to get to know. I'm easy to get along with, I'm not hard to please, and I'm a lot of fun to be around.
