The only request that I have for a first date is an activity that doesn't discourage us actually having a conversation and getting to know each other. So, of course this means that movie theatres, and things of that nature are probably not the best bet for a first date. That would be a great 2nd and 3rd date when, when we've already talked about everything and we're tired of listening to each other. :-)

I'm always down for (even though it sounds cliche) a walk on the beach, a nice dinner, maybe a drink or two, and good old fashioned, meaningful conversation. I'm very easy to get along with, I'm not hard to please, and I'm alot of fun to be around. I think the true purpose of a first date is to be yourself, feel comfortable, and most importantly to have fun together. I try to keep an open mind and am pretty much down for anything fun, within reason of course...

My idea of fun is spending time with someone I have a connection with, and getting to know them. In my opinion, it doesn't really matter what two people do - if they have chemistry, almost anything they do together will be fun. Having said that, I love to cook, spend time with family and friends, go to the beach or out on a boat, I love football, theme parks, concerts, weekend getaways, you name it!
