I would describe myself as happy, unpretentious, loyal, confident (but not arrogant), kind, fun, attractive (on the inside... the outside you'll have to judge for yourself), adventurous, optimistic, athletic, successful and well rounded with a good set of values and little baggage. I believe in living life to its fullest. Sure, I like "guy stuff"... sports (especially golf, baseball, football and snow skiing), classic cars and fixing things around the house. But, I'm deeper than many guys and also enjoy cultural activities like theatre, ballet, architecture, travel, museums, wine and cooking. I believe trust, common interests, lots of laughter, chemistry, passion, teamwork, mutual respect and good communication are some of the keys to making a relationship successful. Corny maybe, but I do have a soft spot for those less fortunate than myself, children, animals and good old-fashioned romance.

I am hoping to retire in a couple of years and to start traveling the world. I would like to go on an extended trip to Europe, especially Italy, Spain, Portugal, France and Greece. I think I would like to make Tuscany my base camp and then visit the other countries. I would like to see the regular tourist places but also explore the different wine regions.

I have lots of different interests from walking on white sandy beaches of the Oregon coast and Hawaii, to hiking in the mountains searching for wild mushrooms especially the matsutake mushroom.
Wine tasting in Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, Yakima, Columbia Valley, Red Mountain and Walla Walla areas are some of my favorite things to do. I also love to cook gourmet meals and smoke salmon
