I believe we each create our own reality through our thoughts, beliefs, and actions. Life is beautiful and there is so much to appreciate and enjoy. My motto is, if it isn't fun, why do it? (okay, I admit that was shamelessly lifted from a Ben & Jerry's bumper sticker, but really it IS my motto!) :)
I am retired from my university research job, my kids are all grown up, and I'm still doing freelance research, but I am also traveling, enjoying myself, meeting new people, learning a lot each day, and generally, well, I have DECIDED that life is good, and I'm being shown how right I am about that with each passing day.
I've ghost-written 12 published books and my latest book in my OWN name and voice was released in June, 1011. Inspiration comes from the most surprising places as we go about living life with eyes and heart wide open.
Of course there is so much more to say, so if you'd like to, let's start the dialog.

I love being outdoors, but I do not really enjoy the traditional "walk in the rain". If it's raining I love to be indoors curled up and cozy. When weather is nice, I love hiking, biking, boating, just about anything. I can hike all day, but at the end of that day I want clean sheets and a bathtub. (no camping). If this makes me sound like a prima donna it's giving the wrong impression. Fun for me is anything from talking over coffee to Disney World to the aforementioned hiking in nature.. I'm not really a party person, but I do like to socialize with groups of nice people. TRAVEL is high on my list and there are many many corners of this world I'd like to explore. I've loved everything I've seen so far, from the beaches of Tahiti to the glaciers of Alaska.

Authenticity. It's easy to tell when someone is living an authentic life, which really just means they are being true to themselves. The most attractive humans are the ones who are literally in love with themselves. Not in a narcissistic way, but in a real, open hearted, self-acceptance way. A man who is living his passion, whatever that may be.. a man who is healthy and vital, a man who loves waking up every morning to have more fun. Thanks for asking what I'm "looking for". I'd never really put it into words before.
