I am kind and compasionate. I am a good listener. I am a giver. I am a retired school psychologist and now a feelance writer. I come from a wealthy family and enjoy the finer things in life becuase I am use to them, not because I HAVE to have them. I was always taught to never forget where I came from before we were an affluent family which is why I went into the field of school psychology to work in inner city pre-schools to help disabled children whose families could not afford private services for them. I stopped when my son was born and I decided to be a stay-at-home-mom to raise him. Today I am a published writer and I write on all differant psychology related topics. I just completed a 400 page autobiographical memoir which is currently being considered for publication. I also write children's stories and I am a published poet. My poetry includes a large variation of topics from romance to war to life's hardships, motherhood and even humor. Currently, some of my poetry is being considered and looked at to have music put to it's words and prose.
I am very social and I have a huge network of close friends. My college friends from 1982 are probably the most important and supportive people in my life besides my family members. I have a very close knit Italian family. My son, sister and brother and parents mean the world to me and I am very close with all of them including all of my nephews, one niece, cousins, aunts and uncles as well. Family means a great deal to me as I am very family oriented and our holidays are wonderful shared times spent together! My son, Matthew, age 13, is the most awesome kid in the world. Finally, my hobbies include writing, (naturally), tennis (a lot of it), yoga, broadway shows and movies and I love board games. I am also fairly religious. In concluding, I am just a funloving person looking for someone who is equally funloving and who believes in one simple word..."HONESTY!" THAT IS REALLY WHAT I AM ALL ABOUT. Oh, almost forgot...I adore my little Yorkie, Charlie!!! A picture is posted.

An ideal first date for me would be going to a small quiet resturant, elegant, perhaps one that serves sushi (LOVE SUSHI) with a nice ambiance where we can talk and get to know a little about one another. What makes each of us tic and who we are, etc., while enjoying a nice atmosphere and some good fresh deep sea food followed by a nice walk afterwards.

I think it is called "hang gliding" when a speed boat drags you and you are high up in the air holding on to what looks like a giant kite. No no, it's called parasailing, yes that's it...PARASAILING!!! I've also wanted to spend a few days on a very large boat or yacht with it's own captain's crew, chef, maid, etc., but not a ship or cruise.

I look for an intelligent, warm, compssionate, loyal, "HONEST", funloving man who can be sensitive to both the emotional and physical needs and desires of a woman. Good looks would just perfectly complete the overall GREAT package. Is that asking for WAY TOO MUCH; totally UNREALISTIC or not???
