| Self Description | | For those who care, I'm a 40 year old optimist by nature and a ruthless skeptic; I take life with a grain of salt and a healthy side of garden fresh peas...that's just how I roll. I'm divorced with two wonderful children that live with me full time. A son that's 8 years old (my lil Einstein), and a daughter who will soon be 6 (my Princess), they can be stressful but any parent will tell you that. I love life, and enjoy the life I have. I consider myself to be caring, affectionate, considerate, somewhat compassionate, a little eccentric and above all- Honest, and I will not tolerate a liar. Have no use for rude arrogant inconsiderate lying deceitful people, I try to give everyone the benefit of the doubt- but if you burn me- I'm done with you (only my X-wife has this privilege). I feel two people should be able to communicate, and share good things as well as bad... I believe there is one person for everyone, and when two people find each other and fit good ((Chemistry)) together, nothing can stop them from being together forever. I believe a relationship should be 50/50. Sharing and caring and also respect for the others space and independence. Life is too short to play games; I am just looking for a normal relationship (if such existence), with no surprises... Be honest with me and I will always be honest with you... respect me and I will respect you... I say this life is real, its also fake and full of hypocrisy and contradiction... people deal with their problems in different ways - I don't need an advertisement, a religion, a government, the media to tell me how to think and feel, to give my life some higher purpose, or make me feel more secure in my existence. Some people might accuse me of hating... but there's a difference between hating and knowing what mankind is capable of these days. Everyone has to take someone else's shit one way or another at some point in time. Even the first man and woman couldn't resist and messed up the whole shit, condemning us to an eternity of repentance and ... If you can't even feel me in the slightest, it might be time to re-assess why you're doing what you're doing, and who you're doing it for. To some people I'm a student, to some I'm a teacher. This is the cycle of knowledge that has created my consciousness. Anyway, I reckon you have to know where some thing's been to know where it's going. Life's too short not to learn from other people's mistakes... Acknowledge the past, embrace the future, and love the moment!
Guess I will settle for meeting: anyone who is positively brilliant in their own way... and the girl of my dreams... Ok yeah I know... it seems I am indeed the hopeless romantic you suspected. I told you before I am instinctively optimistic and as such I find myself nurturing the hope those things will in fact end happily ever after. Can it be all so simple? No, sorry... and love at first sight is merely a coincidence. I want a friend, companion, and Lover! As good as shallow relationships can be my conscience doesn't allow me to maintain the charade for very long. Opposites attract... best friends make a perfect match! But once you cross the line is there really any going back? ? Not sure what I'm looking for but I will know when I find it! ... (((Go home and sleep on that!))) |
