| Self Description | | I'm a newly single (separated) mom/ft student looking for companionship. I would like someone that I could possibly hav a LTR with, so if you're a married man looking for "a little something something" on the side I'm not really interested-but thanks anyways! Although this website advertises the wealth of the singles signed up, you don't necessarily have to be "Daddy Warbucks" for me to want to get to know you! Like my headline says, I'm looking for a nice guy.
I'm 5'5 with longer dark hair, blue eyes, an average figure and a great smile. I enjoy going to the theatre, restaurants with real plates (instead of Happy Meal boxes!), suffering through the seasons of my beloved Tribe and Browns, and the simpler things like drive in movies, walks, music, or just spending a quiet night at home enjoying the company of my family. Speaking of family, it is very important to me and if you haven't picked up on it, I will say up front that I have one.
My hobbies include cooking, knitting, crocheting, candymaking (mostly chocolates), and of all things, soapmaking. I also enjoy trying to garden, but I'll admit that I'm not very good at that one! I used to compete in pageants in the Miss America circuit (but never made it to the level you would have seen me!) and perform in local theatre productions. These experiences made me used to being around people, however I'll admit that I can be very shy when I first meet someone-especially if I'm very attracted to them. Once I warm up to you and am comfortable you can't shut me up! lol... I'm a hopeless romantic that still believes Mr Right is out there for me. That said, I enjoy some of the older movies like Gone With The Wind and An Affair To Remember (2 of my all time favorites!) in addition to the more recent "classics" like Sleepless In Seattle and Love Actually.
I don't drink heavily, maybe a couple of beers or glasses of wine a year, and I'm a nonsmoker that does not use drugs. I'm most comfortable in my soccer mom Levis and t-shirt but I can and do clean up very nicely for a night on the town. Any man that gets to know me needs to have a real down to Earth personality and needs to really love to laugh. I think that life is too short to take it too seriously. I have a strange but fun sense of humor and I just love life! If I sound like someone that you could enjoy having around then please drop me a note! |

| Idea Of Fun | | Varies. I'm not much of a cold weather person so right now I do a lot of indoor things with my family...movies, games, reading, swimming at the rec center. In the summer I like to watch them play sports, go to the zoo, anything that makes them happy is fun for me. I would love to try horseback riding again someday, learn to rollerblade, go bike riding, walks in the local park, watching the Indians on tv or at "The Jake". I'm really a simple gal that hasn't been exposed to much "excitement". There really isn't a lot I wouldn't try (except for skydiving or bungee jumping-I'm afraid of heights!) |
